====== Overwhelming Evidence ======

Its a common misconception that you should advice full comment in the face of overwhelming evidence. That is not so. 

There is no extra credit for a guilty plea at the police station stage. The full discount is available up to the date a trail day is set. There is a sliding scale in the legislation but its not implemented in the real world. In any event the difference between a 10% discount and a 33% discount on even a 6 month sentence where release is well before the half way stage... well you do the math! 

There is no real advantage to a guilty plea at the police station stage in the face of overwhelming evidence or to take advantage of a discount.
